question about skills in pvp
Hey guys, Apologies if this has been asked a hundred times before
I recently purchased GW: prophecies, I have reached level 17, and along the way I have IDed a few items and got the "item unlocked" I have also seen many "skill unlocked" also. I understand or should i say "think" that this means that these skills are unlocked in pvp as well as weapons unlocked for pvp. I have not touched pvp at all so have absolutely no idea how it works. Can someone please explain. Thanks in advance. |

That is correct, once you unlock a skill or weapon upgrade or rune, it becomes unlocked and as choice when making pvp equipment.
Skills, runes, upgrades, that you haven't unlocked are still viewable by your pvp characters, but they just cant use them until they are unlocked. |

No, all skills/equipment mods you unlock will always be unlocked.

just remember though that the mods you unlock dont automatically give you max damage mods in PVP, you still need to unlock the higher or perfect mods either through PVE or cashing in your faction gained through PVP

Also, PvP armor can't be salvaged, so no point in trying to make money off perfect mods you didn't find in PvE (I tried a long time ago, hehe).
